  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper

  4. Incorporate cream and cheese: Pour in the double cream, then add the crumbled Stilton cheese. Reduce the heat to low and stir continuously for about 5 minutes until the cheese fully melts and the sauce thickens. Use the back of the spoon to break down the cheese for a smooth texture.
  5. Season the sauce: Stir in Worcestershire sauce and freshly ground black pepper to enhance the sauce’s savory depth.
  6. Finish and serve: Serve the sauce immediately for the best creamy consistency or let it simmer on low heat for a few more minutes, stirring regularly, to thicken further.
