Instructions

  1. Mix the Patty Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped green onions, diced red bell pepper, cilantro, minced garlic, kosher salt, red pepper flakes, and lime juice. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Form Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions. Using wet hands to prevent sticking, shape each portion into a flat, round patty.
  3. Pan Sear the Burgers: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 2 ½ minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Prepare the Salad Base: Toss the mixed greens with olive oil, lime juice, and salt to taste. Arrange the salad on serving plates.
  5. Assemble and Serve: Place the cooked chicken patties on the salad bed. Top with sliced avocado and tomatoes. Sprinkle additional chopped cilantro and finish with a squeeze of remaining lime juice.
